Add Granero and we have a hat trick of ACL ruptures at the club

Assuming they will all do there rehab together so hopefully they can keep each others spirits up

These injuries are happening way too often in the modern game. It may sound mental but the way boots are made now could be a factor in why these types of injury happen. The classic stud was perfect, whereas these new blade-type studs seem to get stuck in the ground a lot more, resulting in twisting the knee. Hmmm.

The ground today is way to hard the pitches have no give in them, they dont cut up any more there all sand based artificial compounds underneath, there's no give in the ground hence a lot of knee and ankle injuries.

Hard to believe but it's true, cut up bobbly sunday league pitches are probably safer than the modern day pitches we see in the big leagues!
