Oh I see. No, you've misunderstood.

I would never tell someone they weren't a QPR fan or tell them to go and support someone else, in fact I was criticising someone for doing exactly that. Apologies if I didn't quite get the gist of your original response.

Crossed wires all over the shop here, probably should just leave it at that.

Im a little bit old fashioned and I like to see my defenders clear there lines instead of taking chances if the pass is on play it but if in doubt put it out
Not sure why the original poster is getting so much stick. I love Clint Hill to bits but there were a couple of times yesterday where he looked very dodgy, and not for the first time this season either. Unfortunately I think father time is catching up with Clint and I don't think it would be a bad move to give Onyewu a run of games to see if he's worth signing up to a longer term deal!

        I agree with this.

I think it was more to do with the slightly tactless way he described someone who'll no doubt go down as an R's legend.

Fair play Deepcut lets move on

But the OP has got me thinking, Onuoha has been outstanding so far, Dunne Millwall apart the same, and Hill is Hill, i would suggest 3-5-2
          but pace is a problem.

We have had two seasons of almost continuous change and Clint Hill remains one of the few constants. He's been here during the good times and has remained whilst things declined and says the right things when questioned and portrays on the pitch what us fans think is important from someone wearing the jersey and on that basis many are keen to defend him and give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his short comings if he does well in the main what he is meant to do which is defend.

Hill certainly deserves our support more so then Adel given the strokes he pulled. Hill got us up then got sent out on loan and never complained, he came back never played straight away and never complained, under Hughesless he got marginalised but kept his head down and was brought back when it was soon apparent we needed heart and soul in the team. I know as a fact he was treated quite shabby under Hughes but you never got a peep out of him. Now that is a professional

Wouldn't disagree with any of that but if his legs are going I personally don't think there is room for sentiment!

Clint Hill like Derry is the ultimate professional, but i do think other tems target him as our weak link, so i also think the abuse the op got was a bit strong just for an opinion.

Clint Hill is more than good enough as our CB and captain.Every player makes mistakes sometimes they can cost us in goals it's football. Clint hasn't cost us anything .....solid defender and leader

                                Clint Hill - summary

When I started the Clint Hill thread I new most in here would not have the same opinion and there would be a lot of nice things said about Clint (if he reads this forum he probably would be happy I posted).
Some have really put a lot of thoughts behind their post an example is Guildford_R – this really made me rethink my opinion
I've read this board for ages now and never post BUT this post has really wound me up, amongst others!

Defenders are there to defend not too create (this goes tenfold for CB) if they can do both then great but you will find that those that can will be playing for a top four team. Clint Hill can read the game as good as anyone hence why he can still cut it. We should be proud to have players like him at our club after all that has happened.

We have the best defensive record in the league this is born from getting the basics right and playing as a unit at the back, this can only be done with discipline, team work and quality defenders.

Then there are other doubting me as a supporter an even calling me names I dont think I deserve. Examples would be
                                CCG - your dog's a better a judge of a player
W12_Ranger some fans on here , ****ing clueless
Kron_1664 , what r u on FFS LOL go and bother another forum
R.P.Q. There will soon be a vacancy over at Craven Cottage, i suggest you apply.
