This thread is absurd, Clint has been nothing but solid this season, just because he knocks the ball out when under pressure you want to get rid of him lol what..?

Clint has been great this season but a fully fit Dunne and Nedum would be my first choice CB pairing.

Unpopular I know but its all about opinions.

firstly if more of our defenders through the years cleared their lines instead off ****ing about in dangerous areas trying to impersonate Beckenbauer we might have achieved more. Oney-what-ever you call him is our 4th choice centre half, Hill is our captain and leads by an example and has been part of a defence which has kept 9 clean sheets this season.

if it ain't broke don't fix it, problem with some football fans is they think they are playing a game of 'football manager' when you go and just tinker with a side for the sake of it
I'm sitting here, trying to think of the best way to respond to the OPs idiot post. Then, W12 posts this which is BANG ON !

            Superb post mate.

As an aside, I thought that Clint had a very good game today.

I've read this board for ages now and never post BUT this post has really wound me up, amongst others!

Defenders are there to defend not too create (this goes tenfold for CB) if they can do both then great but you will find that those that can will be playing for a top four team. Clint Hill can read the game as good as anyone hence why he can still cut it. We should be proud to have players like him at our club after all that has happened.

We have the best defensive record in the league this is born from getting the basics right and playing as a unit at the back, this can only be done with discipline, team work and quality defenders.

I have seen most of the game this season and more seasons.
I have been a die hard QPR fan since 1976.
I still believe there are better center half than Clint around
Hope you have a nice day
He's arguably been our best player this season, never lets us down. Your original post was so far off the mark I genuinely thought you were taking the ****.

You may have watched a lot of football but clearly it doesn't make much sense to you.

Chris Samba on his day is better then Dunne/Hill/Onuhoa, but he was pony for us. It's not always about technical ability but what a player brings overall to the team.

Disagree with the perceived majority view? You must be a Fulham fan.

                        Tedious predictable ****.

Clint Hill is a decent hard working player but more importantly he is one of the few that over the last 2 or 3 seasons has proved to be committed. He puts in 100% every game and to be picked on for the OP reasons then I have to feel very sad.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Do you really need me to explain it?

Somebody offered an opinion at odds with the majority view, and was told to take himself off to Fulham. It's a tw***y thing to say, and gets trotted out on here too often.

I disagree with the OP, although understand to an extent where he's coming from. He perhaps didn't articulate it particularly well, but I don't think he's less of a QPR fan than anyone else on here because of that.

Oh i see,, so its ok for you to jump out of your pram when on the Barton thread someone questions your support and you state you would never stoop so low,
but yet you asked me if i'm a Fulham fan for suggesting that the OP apllies for the Fulham job, who i think in my opinion would relegate them, where do i say he's less than a Rangers fan than anybody??, No he didn't atrticulate it very well, and yes it was probably a cheap shot, but if your after the posistion of board white knight try to be a little less sanctimonious.
