Can't understand why you'd play a journeyman like O'Neil over a class act like AJ. We were good throughout; we were very good with AJ. His playing meant Nico could step up a gear. First name on the team sheet after Clint and Joey for me.

Don't get me wrong we look ok, but with Johnson on the pitch we seem to have that extra bit of pace and urgency needed to put teams under pressure.

If he did though, pretty sure he'd sit up and take note of your excellent suggestion!!

O'Neil's been one of our best players this season for me. Very good on the ball, rarely gives it away and uses it very intelligently.
Johnson comes on and has 15 good minutes and all of a sudden we should change our entire system to accommodate him? No chance.
Good player when fit, but he is rarely fit and we haven't got the players for 4-4-2. Also to be honest we were more like 4-3-3 in the first half with Philips and Hoilett attacking.
It was a very good point at Reading yesterday and we could have easily won it had we taken our chances. No need for Johnson to start IMO.
