  • Scoring goals

Its another draw away from home. May not be a bad result as Reading are a good side, however, I am starting to get nervy about our lack of killer punch. It seemed that we were never going to score a goal as we make it difficult to ourselves. Austin is still finding his feet, while Phillips is panicking when presented with a chance. Cannot understand why Harry is not ready to give Hitchcock a run in the first team. He is scoring goals and is full of confidence. HR is always saying that we took a gamble on that player and another gamble on another player.....how about taking a gamble on one of our own kids?

Don't think Arry will take any 'gambles' with Hitchcock or any of our other kids - it's not his way. With AJ and Chevanton to call on now, Hitchcock is well down the list

Now Toilet has tweaked something (yet again) lets hope he now considers AJ and Austin up top together

Two letters point the way forward: A and J. Plus two words: When fit. We're a good team without him. We're a much better team with him. Even with only ten men on the pitch. I'm convinced Austin can't play up front on his own. He works hard, but rarely wins the ball on the ground and never in the air. He needs someone up alongside him or in the hoe behind him to play him in. And we've got to get better balls into the box, quicker, from both wingers and full backs.

We were as good, if not better, with Toilett off and down to ten men. Toilett should be sent to Fulham to complete their demise and stop ruining our promotion chase.

Austin never wins anything in the air?

we could and should have been 3-0 up after 15 minutes, but that is a team that is going up
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

When does he? Today? I'm referring to Green's goal kicks or balls played up from the back, not his ability to get on the end of crosses. And, on the occasions that he does win the ball, it goes nowhere. And certainly not to one of us ( because there's no one playing off him). This isn't his fault. It's the style of play with one upfront which IMHO is not suited to his style of play which is to feed off things, especially crosses, and play the channels.

Should have scored 3 or 4 today, we were unlucky as usual. Used to think we wouldn't score many this season, but I reckon we will do very soon especially at home.

West, got a few years on you, this is a good side, played some lovely football at times, my only worry is the goals for column, but honestly think some teams are in for a right tonking soon

As if the likes if Hitchcock are the answer to our problems, daft thread.

We were more fluid with AJ on for O'Neil even when down to ten men with Holliet a passenger thanks to injury

I just can't believe how often we hit the woodwork, seems to be pretty much every game. Thought we played well again.Surely someone is going to get a right hammering off us one day soon.

How utterly useless Toilett is. Couldn't you tell?

Yes, obviously, or else the above statement wouldn't exist. DERP!
