We looked very strong yesterday. Austin could have scored three, and Hoilett two. But besides those two and AJ, our attacking threat is non-existing.

Win at home, draw away - as we've been doing and we remain on course for automatic promotion.

Yes on GD and 2pts behind Burnley - there's really nothing in it at this stage.

I rekon we're not far from getting it right but i have to agree with the poster who said Austin isn't as effective playing up top on his own. Its all about getting the balance right in what is in essence a new team who are still lerning about each others games.

How is he looking so far, games played and goals scored, is he on target at this rate? Serious question.

IMO if Harry keeps playing him as a lone striker then I think it'll be a struggle to achieve that because I don't think it plays to his strengths. But I can only assume HR knows what he's doing and he's openly come out and stated 4-5-1 is his preferred formation.

I think just as interesting a question is how you keep AJ and Chevanton happy being permanent bench-warmers.

Thats my thoughts exactly, dont doubt that he hasnt got the ability to get twenty goals, but doubt that he can in our side with the system we play.
Funny thing is, hoilett played the best ive ever seen him yesterday and i was all ready to give him the benefit of the dount and stop booing him (joke)and eat humble pie, then he goes and gets injured . AGAIN. Sigh.

To be fair to Charlie he carved out three excellent chances but once again, as has been our recent luck, the oppo keeper played an absolute blinder.

well of the last 5 played, 4 were away, 2 were "derbies" and one v the top team and still just one loss. injuries are piling up but a 2 week break may help get some fit.
charlton next and we must win this.

31 games to go, needs 14 more.

About one every other game, going to be a really tall order. He hasnt scored in a few now has he?

Should get that comfortably I think, especially now AJ is back and hopefully them 2 starting together.

Hoefully they start together, cos i honestly think chas will struggle to get fifteen if we carry on starting with the formation we have been doing.

The way we seem to be running out of central midfielders Harry might be forced to play 2 up front soon
