As long as we keep playing Austin alone, we will not score more than 2 goals per game.

Very Good point today. great atmos from our lot and good commitment shown from the players.

oniel and matty philips both had very good games and austin is working as hard as a donkey.

never expected us to go up automaticly and my fears were the wolves effect but am so chuffed with how we are playing and we now have a team we can build upon in this divison. anything else is a bonus in my eyes.

Why didnt you expect us to go up automatic mate? Clear favourites by miles with every single bookie in the country and we still are at 13/10 (burnley are currently 6-1), best manager and best squad by far. Do you like to vote the under dog or something?
Anyway, back to the game, thought we were not that good yet again. Harry playing for another nil nil. Thank god for joey barton.

we got rid of 23 players in the summer, brought in 10. it was a big rebuilding job and tbf i did not think we would cope to well with all the unsettlement.

our start has been superb with only 1 loss. dont follow the bookies mate but am sure we were a big price to get relegated last season and look what happened.

cant agree with you that we played for a nil nil.

austin 3 shots on target, hoillet hit the bar and had another shot saved. aj just wide. i thought we done very well. even playing with 10 fit players with 15 mins to go we were the more positive of the two teams.

i really believe harry and the team are doing a fantastic job.

dont get carried away, we are a club still in transition who just went through a huge upheavel in the summer.

joint 2nd with only 1 loss a quarter of the way through the season is a superb result.

We created plenty of chances today,if we continue to play as well as we did today we will score goals,I felt Hoilett played well today,as did Phillips and Austin,AJ does not an extra threat, think we will be there or there abouts end of season

Hitchcock are you joking? Kid only got signed by QPR and Blackburn because of his dad, today we played some good football but i think when we are away against good teams it's best to play 4-3-3, maybe at home against the weaker teams 4-4-2 is suitable.

Today Phillips and Toilett(b4 he got injured) looked a threat, Reading have one of the strongest teams in this division and our 2 wingers really did make them uncomfortable if anything that bodes well for the future just be patient and wait for Charlton at home.

                        Goals, shmoals.

Win at home, draw away - as we've been doing and we remain on course for automatic promotion.

Really? Nowhere near close to being as good as ours though is it? In my opinion, anything less than automatic promotion would be an absolutely huge failure.

When one compares the players available to Warnock and Redknapp, the financial backing given to each in this division, then failure to win this league will put Warnock's achievement that season into true perspective. Positive management providing the dividends that the more cautious approach is so far failing to do.

I think we need to use the break to take a look at the top of the league in the cold light of day. All of the top 3 have more points than Baadiff this time last year , who went on to win the league at a canter. That tells me that not all of the 3 can sustain this type of run , we are staying up there while having a lengthening injury list, the other 2 have not had to cope with this yet, Burnley especially have a tiny squad and no money. If they stay up there good luck to them but I think it is highly unlikely. We are 2 points off the top of the league with players to come back. WE ARE PERFECTLY PLACED.There is a long way to go but lets just stay calm !

We've won 1 in 5, but 4 of those 5 have been away and we've only lost 1.
