From Wikipedia:
On 8 August 2013, Sterling was arrested for an alleged assault on his model girlfriend. He pleaded not guilty and will appear again at Liverpool Magistrates Court on 20 September.
Sterling was previously sent to trial for another assault on a woman who sustained facial injuries but the case was dropped due to a witness failing to appear. Sterling's legal fees were paid for by the tax payer as he was considered eligible for legal aid despite earning a reported salary of £30,000 per week.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

if one of wingers gets injured atm our next option is swp. anyone who would have swp over sterling must be a bit barmy. not saying sterling is only backup standard but hes nearer the standard of phillips and hoilett than shaun isi supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front
