from the moment we lifted the championship trophy our premier league future was destined for failure....poor ownership/managment/players attitudes/coaching/agent interfearance..........i hope its a harsh lesson we've learned from!

I'm with TW, Championship with reasonable pay on the gate awaydays & a few wins thrown in suits me fine

For us that would mean around 29k."

And I thought spending my twilight years being sodomised by Asda managers for not enough to pay my gas bill was pitiful!

Best away day I can remember that. But, for every 1 like that, there were 8 or 9 shocking games we were outclassed in.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Personally glad we went down, those two seasons in the PL were absolute tortue. At long last we are starting to look like a football team again.

I agree with all that. But, however trepidatious the premiership, however horrid the possibility of having to watch c ants like Mbia, you guys wanna go up automatically this season, right???

Interesting debate. I think if we were there now with the squad we have now we would finish 5th or 6th bottom. If we were there with the squad that sent us down we would finish inbetween Sunderland and Palace, so would still have been relegated.

Not being a downer, but this squad would still be bottom with palace if they were up there this season. We find it very difficult to score in this shite league, we would never get a goal up there. Doing great down here, but nowhere near good enough to move up to that division, the gulf is unbelievable.
