Whether you rate him as a player or not you have to feel for the guy, he is undoubtedly a true professional, you can see from tweets and tunnelcam videos how much he is loved by everyone at the club. He was instrumental in getting us promoted and was just getting back to a similar level of form. I bumped into him and his son at winter wonderland, in the queue for the Ferris wheel, spoke to him for a good 20 minutes and was generally a lovely guy and happy to speak to me

It's not? If there can be any good news from this that would be it because if he ripped up his surgically repaired knee that would probably be the end of his career!

If there could be a positive from this awful news it's that it's the other knee this time. Had it been the same knee again it would likely have been curtains for his career.

Hope his recovery goes well. An important part of the squad in my opinion.

Not sure if this is true but once the ACL goes in one leg, the other one soon follows. Hope not! Can anyone confirm this?!

Old article from previous injury claims it was his right knee

Was definitely his right knee last time.

That can only happen without all the proper rehab work which obviously hasn't been the case with Ale. He's just been very unlucky. Saying that his risk of these type of injuries is increased because of his combative tackling style.

Unfortunately the doc does not appear to be on line at the moment.

I know Rowlands did 2 in quick succession but not sure if they were opposite knees or the same

I hope he progresses fast, who knows if he looks near fit by the end of the season he could be in for a contract extension... would just hate to see him go out this way

Well, I'm actually not a doc and cannot confirm anything. Usually if you are aware of some part of your leg, you hurt another. But this has nothing to do with case Faurlin.
