  • Harry - what are you talking about?

Just watched 'Arry's presser from last night. As ever, he didn’t half spout some gobsh*te. Full of contradictions!

He criticised the referee, but when asked: "Did you have a word with him after the game?" his answer was : "No! Listen, he done his best, didn't he?"

He moaned about people thinking that Rangers should play two up front & said: "How many teams in world football play two up front, now? You can count 'em on one hand!" And yet, when asked about the general lack of goals, he said that, because of injuries, he'd had no choice other than to play one up front. So, what is it, 'Arry? A conscious decision to play 4-5-1 or your only option?

He talked about Hoilett playing in between the lines, but said that the final ball was lacking. Why was Hoilett even there, when you have a player like Kranjčar, who is so much more suited to the role? Perhaps if Hoilett (who is fast) had been playing wide in his natural position and Niko (who is slower) had been in between those lines, collecting the ball and delivering it to Charlie, without having to run much, he might not be nursing a f*cking hamstring injury now!

Redknapp reckons that Wigan have a stronger squad than he does and that they have more strength in depth than Rangers have got. Whose fault is that then, H? Who spent the summer signing midfield players, when your defence & attack needed strengthening? And who made exactly the same mistake at Tottenham too?

I agree with this post( but the "delighted with the point" gang won't),Harry talks some terrible shite sometimes,Do Millwall and Burnley have stronger squads than us so,as we only picked up one point from those two games,he will always make stupid excuses, bottom line is we have a squad strong enough to get promoted this season and if we don't,it will be his fault.

      We will get promoted.

On another note Rebel - How do you tolerate supporting a club like QPR? The history of the club shows that we generally lose more than we win and have never won a major trophy (maybe 67 but..) - This year we won 8, drew 4 and lost 1 so far - Id presume that ranks pretty high in the clubs history as a points total after 13 games.

What exactly are you expecting from QPR? Maybe this is a parody account and I'm missing the joke? but I don't think so.

Seems a reasonable question asking what he is expecting of QPR though doesn't it?

Playing 2 up front hasn't exactly harmed teams like Liverpool & Manchester Utd has it?! No I'm not saying we have players like they have but the principle point is both those teams play with 2 strikers & guess what they score a hell of a lot more than the likes of Chelsea who play with a lone man.

So nice to be home!! Having spent a few days in the North West to take in the delights of Burnley and Wigan it's good to see that the forums best post of the week is at the top of the pile. Great post Lurker and I'd love to see H trying to answer those questions because I honestly don't think he would know where to start.
The only thing I can say in defence of last night's performance is the weather was dire and not conducive to our style of play - can't say the same for Saturday though

I agree, but the issue is the link up between them, Using the utd and liverpool examples, Rooney and Suarez link the play up between the midfield and attack. That is why they are so successful. Who do we have who has the workrate and vision to link the play up.

Yes, excellent OP. Not a fan of HR myself but really have no choice but to tolerate him while his is our manager. IMHO he has us playing the most boring football imaginable (I almost fell asleep in the first half against Brighton). Even if we go up this still concerns me. We were always known as entertainers and that always made up for not winning anything. Right now, we've got nuttin'.
