I found the people of Burnley pretty friendly to be fair.
One thing I did notice was that anyone I encountered who was doing a job seemed well over the retirement age. Either the people of Burnley don't age well, when old enough they leave Burnley to find work elsewhere or the younger generation are a lazy bunch and would rather sign on than work for a living.
More than half of Burnley was boarded up.

I was in the CC always go there, people up north dont dress up to go to football, nor do a lot of people down south, stand by the wall next to Chubbies on SAR and watch the rangers fans go by, its not exactly a fashion parade. Maybe it would be better if they charged visiting supporters an entrance fee and 6 quid a pint, then they could afford to plush it up a bit!

Always really friendly staff in there and the drinks are cheap, Burnley has some complete nutters but on the whole they are good folk with a sense of humour which lets face it is too their credit considering the town, that said its really lovely just a couple of miles out of town

I would much rather burnley go up with us than watford reading or leicester,
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
