was it a hostile atmosphere? see Joey got bopped with a bottle of pop
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Not really. The best team on the day won.Still think we will finish above them if Harry takes the shackles off and we pass the ball forward occasionally.

Carroll is going to be a vital part of our season and he unlike our other midfielders move's the ball quickly and forward as well. We miss him as the middlesborough game showed where our attacks begin.

Just back- 12 hour round trip. My assessment for what it's worth.

We offered nothing and got exactly what we deserved from the game.

Burnley were better all over the pitch, wanted it more and pressed us very high which exposed Henry & Barton and the back 4- needed Caroll in there badly today IMO. When we had the ball we were slow, laboured and Hoilett was our only real attacking threat but his final ball was as inconsistent as usual. Austin was given absolutely no service at all.

Can't have any complaints to be honest. I just wish we had taken the game to them more instead of being hesitant and waiting for them to come onto us.

Still a very impressive start to the season but think teams are starting to see a few weaknesses in us.
