We are giving him no service at all. Also what is really starting to wind me up is how slow we are to attack. Austin makes 2 or 3 runs and looks for a ball in behind and our midfield play yet another square ball or go back again. Must be incredibly frustrating for Austin.

There's a reason why Burnley have had high scoring forwards in each of the last 3 seasons. They get good balls into to them quickly and in dangerous areas.
Spot on........I don't want long ball and our passing football is superb....but like you said he makes runs and nothing

Totally agree. Phillips needs to start, Hoillet must stop being selfish and we must play 4-4-2.

Said exactly the same weeks ago about Ings and voles banging them in for Burnley as they are getting the same service Austin got last season. The main response?
"who cares about Burnley" - the usual incisive debate.

I failed to see all the crosses to the Burnley forwards in this game. We gifted them with both goals, Henry's fail in our own half for the first one and Bartons stupid foul for the second.
For me it was obvious that their manager did his homework, killing our passing game, more to come from other teams. Our manager failed to react to the high pressing Burnley used. Tactics should have changed at halftime. I believe HR will figure out how to solve this.

I think some people are missing things here? he's used to playing alongside another striker, we're making him come short, go long, run the channels which means he's very rarely where we need him, in the box? the poor bloke is working his #### off, it seems he cant win. we're flogging the poor geyser! H.R. needs to reinstate the 2 up top we had at the start Austin & A.J. or chevaton just to gve it a go!
