  • HR press conference notes before Burnley

    Via Twitter:

'Tom Carroll is still out - but there's nothing new injury-wise.'

'Andy Johnson played for the Under-21s in midweek. but we'll have to see about tomorrow.'

I hope Charlie Austin gets a good reception tomorrow. But I'm sure he will. They're good fans at Burnley.

'Burnley are going well. They're a good side and it'll be a difficult test.'

'Burnley used to be one of the biggest teams in England. It's a club with tradition

'But we're confident. We've got a good team and good squad. The club is in good shape now.

We all want to be in the Premier League. I want #QPR to be back in there next season.

There's been no contact from Crystal Palace. I'm very happy at #QPR. It's a good club with good people.

I think Tony Pulis would do well there (Palace). He would get them organized.'

'Oguchi Onyewu has been with us a few weeks and done well. He should be in the USA squad for the World Cup and needs to play.'

'He (Onyewu) is a fantastic lad and it's good to have him on board.'

'I've not even thought about the January transfer window yet. We're happy with what we've got.

I seem to remember them in the top flight when I used to collect football cards that came with bubble gum. And I am only a year older than you Rebel.

I remember those stickers( and the bubble gum),I know they were in the first division at some stage in the 70s but hardly one of the biggest clubs in England, typical of Harry to big up the opposition, but in this case, rather than talking s h I t e,he should just say its a tough game as they are top of the league.Amazingly this is the first team we have played in the top 8,While I don't think Burnley are going to finish in the too 6,they are in great form so it is a test for us,would take another draw tomorrow
