Great point but should going to football involve being escorted by three separate police forces to the stadium, being designated your own carriages on the way there and your own train on the way back and then held in a ground for 30mins after game because the team your playing has a bad rep??

Journey to Millwall Yesterday from Acton on train was about 35ish mins way home took best part of two hours simply because they lock the place down and herd you about

OB will justify it though as it appears to work. Anything that happens a few miles down the road they probably don't give a monkeys about as their only being tasked with dealing with the fans from the ground to LB

Talking if which OB at LB were complete c**** after. Saw a few hitting out at rangers.

if there was barney rubble, why discuss on any open forum? it just makes it so easy for the police to do their homework.
millwall are bullies and bullies never like it back.
police know, there's mainly one way for fans to go to the new den..coming to the bush, there are a number of ways and more chance for trouble.
i got the 1440 from london bridge, a few millwall chanted their 1 song, got dirty looks and shut up..we pile on a train and then i see plod, getting off and walking along the platform, then we get the pa...change plats..great, 100s pile onto the other platform and herd onto the train and sing and bouncy all the way to south bermondsey....

Theres a little bit of debate going on on twitter and Marriner appears to have got involved and put some of the Rangers noses out of joint but from reading not an awful lot happened. In the words of Shakespeare 'Much ado about nothing'

From what their saying however I can to some extent see why Millwall may be taking exception

Got the same train and by the time I got to the ground the game had already started and they had stopped selling beer in the ground. Even worst no beers at half time and I'm sure I saw people drinking beers at half time that had been left by people before the game started maybe thinking it was theirs.

Journey to Millwall in the car was a delight. No traffic all the way, both there and back. Left the nice quaint leafy suburbs for the ar$ehole pits of Bermondsey at 12 and was outside the ground by 12.50. Prior to parking up I was warned by numerous police officers that I was brave driving my car into that area and that it might not be in the same condition when I return. So we gambled and parked up by the station and walked around past the Chinese chippy towards the ground. You could tell it was the meeting point for their lot as they were all outside W.Hills with a Tennants Super in hand – Classy that! Within approx. 7 minutes we were at the ground with no problems. Held up for about 20mins or so after the game in the usual cage and this time round there was no bottles or coins fired over the fence. Amazing what a bit of timber can do across the fencing. I suppose it helped stop a load of dogs growling measuring the dicks against each other. Whilst everyone else was getting on the train the police let us out of the side exit and we walked up past the their dog pen and still no growling or barking! We left the station walkway and headed back to the car, which to my joy was still intact.

At the time I thought am I down at HQ but if I am honest I think Loftus Road is far more upmarket than around their gaff. I really is the ar$ehole end of London. So bad it made me cringe! 5mins away from HQ there are some nice parts of London. You'd have to drive at least 5 miles away from their gaff before you get anywhere close to that.

Not that i`m nit picking ,but Dulwich isn `t far and its proper posh round there ,and big swathes of Peckham have gone upmarket now.
