If he is genuinely coming to QPR it would only be on a short term deal. Even then I have to say that I'm sceptical, used to be half decent but at 33 and having not played for nearly 6 months I'm really not that interested myself, especially given the quality we already have in midfield!
Maybe he did not feel comftable moving to Turkey so turned them down.Spent years in England so probably wants to stay here.

It's talksport, meaning it's bullsh*t. Unless Sky, BBC or even the local papers say it, it ain't true, especially not from that ****!Last edited by SuperHoopNik; 20-10-2013, 05:16 PM."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Yossi Benayoun
A journey man from Israel
But he can add creativeness to our midfield.
anyone with a positive view on him?
I think we can shake off Watford and Leicester easily

Benayoun for QPR again?
QPR manager Harry Redknapp says he would still consider signing Yossi Benayoun – but has still not heard from the former Chelsea man since offering him a trial.
The Israel international, 33, has been a free agent since his Blues contract expired at the end of last season.
Several clubs, including QPR, were offered the chance to sign him during the summer, when Benayoun wanted a two-year deal.
Still without a club, his representatives have touted him for a return to England and recently suggested Rangers were looking to sign him, leading to reports that he was set for a move to Loftus Road.
Redknapp wants to add to his squad
West London Sport revealed that, having been approached about signing Benayoun, Redknapp merely suggested the player could train with the R’s and had since not heard from him.
With Niko Kranjcar nursing a hamstring injury and Alejandro Faurlin now sidelined, Redknapp is keen to bring in a creative midfielder as cover.
This week he will assess his options in the loan market and has also hinted that the door could still be open for Benayoun.
“Yossi Benayoun’s a good player and I’ve always liked him. It’s an interesting one,” he said.
“Someone called me and said ‘Would you be interested?’ and I said I’d have a look at him, see how he is fitness-wise and everything, but I haven’t spoken to him or anything like that.
“We’re looking at the minute, just seeing where we need a bit of cover. You would say I’m okay wide, I’ve got good wingers, so it would be [midfield] where I’m short.
“A central midfield player would be useful to us now after Faurlin’s injury or maybe another striker.”
Tottenham forward Harry Kane is on Redknapp’s radar but the R’s boss has dismissed reports that Spurs outcast Emmanuel Adebayor could move to Loftus Road on loan.
He insisted: “I’d never be able to get Adebayor down here. I’d have absolutely no chance of him coming. I wouldn’t think he would want to come here.”oldhoop
