What makes you think Benayoun would be a good addition then?
He is past it, Phillips will come good soon.
Just wait a while before writing players off.
Sorry who has written anyone off? Please do show me I'd appreciate that.
Benayoun is a player I have always thought done a good job, that is my opinion. It is possible for others to have an opinion you get that right?
I've heard decent things about Phillips, no he hasn't started too clever & I'm hoping he will come good & I'm sure he will come good but for ME if it was a straight choice between the two right now I'd plump for Bennayoun mainly for his experience. That's MY opinion. No one is saying your opinion is right or wrong so the same goes for me.
Wasn't having a go though mate.
I do think Benayoun is a good player, but we shouldn't go down that road of ex big names anymore!!
It does look like Nico is gonna pay off,but he is class.
Players like Benayoun etc should be given 6 month contracts, let them prove they deserve a better deal.
There are some players that will sit in the reserves picking up a wage, but there are those that want to play football and be part of a team.
Willing to be proven wrong in me slating him a bit though.
Benayoun has apparently turned down a big offer from Galatasary to sign for us next week.
Shows he ain't a player chasing £££.

He turned down Palace and Getafe as the money wasnt enough. I'd be seriously surprised and question the blokes sanity if he really turned down a bigger offer AND Champions League footy for Burnley away.
I would not actually class Benayoun as a big name player like we have been signing last two seasons. Yes he has played for some big sides but in the main at those teams he has been a bit part player. Think it was West Ham where he done most his work and got his rep
I reckon this article is a load of b*llocks. Why would we offer Benayoun a 2 year contract (no doubt on big money) when we are not renewing contracts of other payers in the squad on their final year that are playing every week?!!!
If he is genuinely coming to QPR it would only be on a short term deal. Even then I have to say that I'm sceptical, used to be half decent but at 33 and having not played for nearly 6 months I'm really not that interested myself, especially given the quality we already have in midfield!
