There are other keepers out there, there's a better one at the club when fit if he were to go it would be a case of the king is dead long live the king we have to move with the times but as you say that's absolute tosh

Rob Green has been a much better keeper for QPR than Cesar has been, hence he's first choice

Murphy is always on the bench.

Green aside, Clint Hill has to be given a new five year contract.

Well you answered yourself in an earlier post Ceasar hasn't been fit at any point this season and before it looked like he was leaving and missed preseason but that said it's not ever body's opinion Green is the better keeper

I think if you look at Green & Cesar's performances in a QPR shirt there is absolutely no doubt that Green has been a better player for us than Cesar has. I'm not talking about what either players have acheived in the past, I am talking purely about what they have done as QPR players. Cesar for me has been a massive disappointment and has very rarely looked like the "world class" keeper that people keep telling me that he is whilst playing for us!

                All very subjective of course.

I suppose so but I would be willing to bet good money that Harry Redknapp would agree with my thoughts on the matter!

I wouldn't bet on it. Have you forgotten about some of the saves that Cesar pulled off last season? I think the blame for lasts season's disaster lies firmly on other people before we start on Cesar.

I would imagine players won't want to sign new contracts until they know what is happening next season.

No mention of Dunne, doesn't he also have a year's contract.

Slightly off the point, but also read yesterday that if his groin goes again, we pay him for six weeks only and he then jacks it in as he doesn't see the point of a further lengthy spell in the treatment room. Credit to the club and player for that.

Can someone lend him a groin?? We'd be an abductor muscle away from collapse if it weren't for Clint and the Chief. But still....

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. For me Cesar has been a massive disappointment and went totally missing when we needed him last season!

Don't know what you mean by going "totally missing". Any goalkeeper for us over the last two seasons was on a hiding to nothing. A bit like King Canute trying to stop the tide coming in.

I don't think there was a lot to choose between Green and Cesar last season personally. Both had good and bad games. Green has been excellent this season but I doubt Cesar would have fared much differently when you consider that the standard of opposition is lower and there is a much better team playing in front of the keeper.
