Yeah i agree, i suppose the title is a bit misleading and i could of worded it better, but my point is, if anybody is going to get Remy from us on the cheap it will be that fat twa t Mike Ashley.

As for Ashley being the shrewdest man in the country... you sure...???? This would be the same Ashley that gave Pardue a 7 year contract when the norm for a manager is about 2 these days, and then tried to undo all the good work at the club by appointing Joe Kinnear....??? Yeah really shrewd.
Also who's to say that he was disruptive - sources please.
As for him leaving, that was probably partly due to two things
1, Get him off the payroll whilst in the championship (club decision)
2, He would have had aspirations for the world cup (his decision and who could blame him)
All in all i would have him back tomorrow .. we need to make it clear to Newcastle that we are no mugs and if they think they are going to buy him for 6 mill, tell them to fark off..

Same as that Skranger, but the way Ashley is as a businessman i wouldnt be at all suprised that he set a deal in his favour to buy him for the original 8 million clause in January if Remy proved himself a success. Just cant see him handing over two million without him putting in guarantees that greatly benefit him and his club.
I still dont really want him back though, and if we only get our initial layout money back, then so be it.

Oh and i dont like remy, hes trouble. He farked off when it suited him, hes an alleged rapist and has just smashed his motor into a cab. Blokes trouble, get rid. Oh and you are guessing about the clause, as nobody is certain what Newcastle arranged with us when they took a player from us who didnt want to play for us.
I like Rhodes, and would be happy if we gave 12 mill for him. Austin, Defoe and Rhodes would be amazing.
AS for the clause, im not guessing, it was common knowledge. I think you'll find you're are guessing by saying "nobody knows what we agreed with Newcastle"... exactly!
You then say you'd be happy if we paid £12m for Rhodes.... a player who's never competed against good defenders or played top flight football...... All i'll say is it's a good job you're not running our club eh.

I would be double happy to pay the extra for the bloke just cos he doesnt get taken to court for rape and smashes up r8's, cos i dont like people with that sort of stigma in our superb dressing room. hope that clears things up.
Oh and it is saying in the papers Ashley has got an 8 million clause for Remy, hence he wants to sort it out in January before other clubs try to turn the players head with better destinations than Newcastle.
P.s still waiting for you to show me how deluded i am by naming a better and more succesfull uk businessman who came from absolutley fark all. Cos no matter how annoying he is, hes very good at getting paper.Last edited by Kevin Mcleod; 15-10-2013, 01:05 PM.
