  • QPR's Remy To Newcastle permanent in January for Six Million

    In the Mirror.
Add the two million loan fee so it makes eight million.
That will do for me, as good as he is, still wouldnt dont want him back to be honest.
We need to go all out for Jordan Rhodes when we go up imo.

The French striker has set the Premier League alight this season, and Newcastle could look to wrap up a transfer in January

If we paid 8 million, he's worth a lot more now.

      The clause aint it?
Ashley is the shrewdest man in the country, and Pardew has been talking up his need for a striker in January, so he will just give him Remy on a perm i would guess.

Other teams will come in for him hopefully. Bidding war would be nice. Dont get me wrong, I'd love him back but he (rightly or wrongly) reminds me of last season and how poor we were :/

If he stays fit through to January he really should be at least 15m + but because of the clause I guess he will end up going cheap and making a bucketload in signing on fee.

he is the most clinical finisher I have ever seen at QPR and I have seen them all from Les Allen on
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

thought the clause had expired and his loan is for a season anyway?

Ridiculous. He's a £15m player without doubt. His stats don't lie. How many games in England to goals? Gotta be 11-12 goals in 20-22 odd games?

The clause expired in the summer apparently.

If he carries on scoring in the prem he will be worth far more than £8m so not sure why you think it would be a good deal for us... you then suggest we should go all out for Rhodes when we go up..... yes the same Rhodes that would cost more than you think we should sell a France international Prem goalscoring striker for, when he's never played top flight football, let alone proved himself against decent defenders....

As for Ashley being the shrewdest man in the country... you sure...???? This would be the same Ashley that gave Pardue a 7 year contract when the norm for a manager is about 2 these days, and then tried to undo all the good work at the club by appointing Joe Kinnear....??? Yeah really shrewd.

                      Just checked.

                      19 games - 11 goals

That's an unbelievable return at any level of the game, especially as one was from the worst team in the league.

                      Worth over double being mooted.

Yeah I bet Didier Deschamps, France manager, is desperately hoping Jordan Rhodes has a grandmother born in Paris. Benzema will be getting worried about his place in the squad.

                          Nobody knows for sure.

If he goes for just 6 million in January, it's safe to say the clause still stands.

That is just too cheap. Say it isn't true.
