  • Faurlin open to offers

Ale Faurlin would like a new QPR contract – but the midfielder insists he is established well enough in England to find another club if needs be.

The family man with children whose first language is English – not Spanish – reckons if Hoops come to him earlier than June 2014 when his contract runs out, he will pick up a pen.

“If they ask me to sign I will sign without a doubt," he added.

Great Championship player and decent Premiership squad player.

    I'd give him another contract.

Like mackie, i would not be bothered if he went. he clearly has around 5 good games a season therefore a more consistant cm is needed. kranker would do nicely.

            tata furlain.

He needs to find another club. Just like thousands and thousands before him, never made a breakthrough.

Not been the same player since the knee injury, time for him to move on I think!

If he's cheap then why not, a good squad player.

No more than a squad player these days, IMO. Behind Barton, Carroll, JJ, Nico and Henry in terms of CM for me.

If he is not going to start regularly I would rather have someone younger on the bench.

Well for next year..if we go up, Carroll will go back to Spurs and Kranjcar may also return to his parent club if we don't sign him. Henry, JJ and Barton will start to get on a bit and may not be that useful. Faurlin can imo do a great job in the prem when fully fit, and when he is he's better than JJ and far better than Henry imo.

Give it until Jan/Feb, Faurlin will be back to his best and everyone will like him again. Longest serving player in our squad (although it doesn't seem like it on here! Some of you lot make him sound like just another one of Hughes's mercenaries!) so I really hope he earns himself a new contract and gets back to his best.

Very fair points, tbh. But I'm still not convinced he can do the job for us.
