We have this thread topic every few weeks. I'm sure its even worse for non-league clubs and those in the lower divisions (like Gillingham like someone mentioned).
In an effort to inject a new angle in this boring old topic:
What's it like for some of you lot who aren't in London and your local club are sht? Do you mates at the local, at work, at church have even more trouble keeping their kids to like the old man's club?

        Also...

Living in Hertfordshire there were - obviously! - lots of Man U fans at my son's nursery/primary school. And he was a Man U fan for a short while but I kept reminding him that I would never take him to a game, never buy him a Man U shirt and above all what was his connection to them.
At the age of 7 he changed to the R's and he takes genuine pleasure in it,

My Daughter is 3 years old but for her 2nd Birthday I got her that little kit they sell in Clubshop.
Had her name Havana on back and she always wants to wear it when we are at home watching a game.
Looking forward to taking her to her 1st game, what age would you say its worth taking her?

Took my boy when he was 14 months old v swindon-far too young,****** nightmare. Bring her near the end of this season when the weathers much warmer, make it as comfortable as possible for her. Make sure ya bring a camera hoop-catch her magic moment. Best of luck and Keep us posted.

I think 14 months is too early.
But I think Havana may be ready now.
                    This is a true story...
A few months ago Havana was on her brothers room and got hold of an old England Under 21's Programme which had Nedum on the front in England Shirt.
Havana said.. He is Daddy's Team.
                    That's Weird!!!

On the other end of this as having been the kid taken, in my case there just wasn't any other choice. I like watching football for its own sake and I'll usually pick a side but it's not like I really care about the result if it's not QPR.

I didn't give my kids a choice. Q.P.R shirts and season tickets from day 1. My 10 year old got his first passport at about 3 months old, his passport photo was taken with him in his R's kit ( the one with JD sports on it)

My eldest is 6 and rangers potty! On my case all the time about going, his first game was a 0-1 loss to Scunthorpe and everyone was calling for flabios head after the game outside and even that didn't put him off, he's a proper ranger, his grandad from her side bought him a arsenal baby grow when hes a baby, genuinely wiped his shitty harris on it and gave it back after, think he got the message. youngest is 1 and I'm still trying to get him to say Rangers, I will succeed.
