The stuff about Ferguson has been common knowledge for years. The bloke's in his 70's, there is no way he is up to date with the modern coaching techniques or the physical rigours of day to day training. Its the same for redknapp and most of the older generation of british managers. Thats why mclaren was brought in by redknapp. Also agree with joey that you cant call them the golden generation when they havent won anything!!

I found the video ,pretty entertaining and in all honesty ,as long as he keeps giving his all for QPR ,i couldnt care less what he says.
Everyone knows that if you stick a microphone under he`s nose ,you are going to get something controversial/stupid/honest depending on what mood he`s in , and because he`s always at it ,although it makes news ,i dont anyone really takes it seriously.

This.....No one takes his ramblings seriously so let him gab on about anything and everything....

Gerrard was world class, whether he is now is debatable but he definitely shouldn't be put in the same class as the others

I'd say Gerrard in his day was world class. Was amazed how easily he ran the game when they beat us 0-3 last season.

Wilshere could be world class if he keeps fit.

But to be fair we probably rate English players a lot higher than we should and cetainly higher than other countries do.

Well just because the players selected by Woy are arguably the best we can out on the pitch to represent England, does that make them world class. The point i was trying to make about Luxembourg
is they too pick the best 11 players they have to represent their country that doesn't make them world class.
So just because any player is picked for England only means they are our best
