  • QPR fan banned from games for 3 years after throwing flare at Yeovil

A QPR fan who threw a blue smoke flare onto the pitch as his team played against Yeovil Town has been banned from every football match in the UK for the next three years.

    3 years!? A bit unfair?

Agree, I would have banned him for life.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Totally admit it was a ****** stupid thing to do, one of them things, one to many pints, thought it was a good idea at the time, what a pr*tt!

They said I can apply for it to be taken off in 2 years with good behaviour on the plus side.

3 years without QPR is going to be a struggle!

Seeing as this bloke got the same ban and a smaller fine than me for slapping a steward!

3 years seemed a lot to me too, glad I'm not the only one that thought it was.

Yer you can park your car nearer so after you throw your flare you can speed off. How about a flashbang to hide your escape?

Under the terms of the order he must also not go within two miles of any regulated match involving QPR for four hours before and after the game.
Cant even pop in to Westfield! Seems a tad harsh.

Apart from at LR, how would this ever be enforceable?

I would rather have a 10 year ban.
