  • Henry in for Carroll at Millwall?

If it was me I would make this swap. Going to have to win the battle first before our quality can shine and this will be a battle. One of the more hostile away games and Millwall will be bang up for it. Lad is young and looks a good player but he won't get the time on the ball he has had in the last two home games and when he does lose the ball it usually is when he is under pressure.

Millwall are 18th- we should be winning this game so don't see why we're not starting with our strongest and most attacking team. They've conceded 9 in their last 2.

Personally I think startin with Henry gives the wrong message and we'd be better off taking the game to them, playing to our strenghts and then introducing Henry in the 2nd game to help close the game out.

Only won twice at home all season too and have conceded an absolute shed load. Need to take the game to them to worry them and keep the fans quiet IMO.

Would rest Barton. Millwall away is an easy yellow card for him, meaning he'll miss Burnley.

Would rest Faurlin for Henry and push Carroll further up the field. Take the game to them.

im sure they will all have plenty of rest as its the international break. no need to rest anyone for the millwall game.

              4-4-2 for me.

Fierce London derby, need our best team out. Just remember our results vs Chelsea in the past couple of years...

Very good suggestion in the OP. It definitely makes sense for Henry to play but we do need to retain some play making ability.

Fierce? I can't remember any game against Millwall being 'fierce' in 35 years.

They're nothing to us. South London's very own Orient

Was going to reply no need to change the side from Saturday, but that is a very valid point, not one for protecting players as you have to trust them , but with it being Burnley next away i can understand that way of thinking.

Henry is a battle axe playing him plays right into Millwalls hands. Why get involved in a trade up wit them? We can easily out football that lot. Let's stick to our guns & kill them with the ball.

What like 3 years ago when we got promoted? Top of the league/best side in the division by a long way away against a poor Millwall side who were barely mid table. Remember that night? We got beaten 2-0 and comfortably cause they out battled us from minute one and never let us play football. They were well up for a battle and we weren't and as such our better players did nothing.

This game is no different. They will be up for it and i am sure the crowd will help them. We need to match them physically first so the likes of Hoilett/Kranjcar quality can shine through. This is a game for Henry in my opinion and put the young lad on the bench.

What a day after the Faurlin affair surfaced & could of derailed our promotion?

                            Oh right yea.

Well that saga still hung over the club 4 days later when they beat Palace 2-1 and won the next 2 games after that.

Didn't go to the game did you. Well me and the other 1,999 fans that were in attendance that night watched us get out fought, battled and comfortably beaten. God knows why but Millwall will see QPR as a big scalp. If you honestly think the likes of Carroll will be able to stroll about and play pretty passes in front of the back 4 as he has done in the last two games then i suggest you go to the game for a potential wake up call.
