  • QPR haven't played anyone myth

The following results are from the season so far
    Blackpool 1-0 Watford
    Charlton 2-Leicester
    Wigan 2-2 Middlesbrough
    Brighton 2-0 Burnley
    Burnley 1-1 Bolton
    Doncaster 2-2 Forest
    Doncaster 1-0 Leicester

So Blackpool started well but look how far they have fallen away yet they beat Watford. Wigan same as us ex-prem managed a draw v a Boro team we played off the park.
And surely you expect the foxes and forest to beat Donny?
We have played and respected and dealt with each team that has been put in front of us. You can't ask for more, and the opposition & QPR fans saying we've played no one seem to be forgetting some of these results.
Enjoy what our team is doing, instead of looking for reasons as to why we don't deserve credit, everyone else is busy doing that for us.

People conveniently forget that part of the reason why some of these teams we've played aren't in the top 6 is because we've already beaten them. But that wouldn't suit their argument of course

Well said Dave. We are taking it game by game.

I said at the begining of the season that Doncaster will have a good season and still think at some stages their position in the table will improve.

Yeah i think Donny will do ok too Yousef, I think alot of oppo fans are just saying these things as it makes them feel better. I have no doubt we will lose games and could well lose to inferior (on paper) opposition
or what are believed to be good top teams, but imo we are where we are on merit and a it's credit to the management team and players for that

I think fans from other clubs etc forget this is not the premiership, and stating we havent played any top clubs make no difference. Everyone beats everyone in this league (except us) and the difference between the top six and the rest really isnt that big a gulf, and nothing like it is in the top flight. It changes all the way through the season, and nobody could predict who the top six will be, whereas you know exactly whos going to be top six in the prem.

Good point and that stat the other day, I think it was for Yeovil, 8 of the starting XI had played less than 10 games for the club, makes the results all the better because it is done with a new team - i think some in the media still think all the hughes signings are still playing, they stopped paying attention in May and missed 27 coming and going entirely

That arguement could easily be countered by saying that even if every team we had played took all three points off us, the highest placed team would be Ipswich who would be in 8th.

No run of games is easy in the Championship, but we definitely will have tougher tests to face this season.

You win the league by beating the so called "lesser" teams. We have done that, but our so called rivals keep dropping points against them. Consistency is the key, and the next 5 games will shape our season imo

We'll only know how good thise side is after the Millwall & Burnley games IMO. But I actually think that a real test will be good for us, the team can have a proper game for a change instead of playing against two banks of 5 or just a team that is utterly useless. The players will be looking forward to Millwall and Burnley more than any game so far this season. It does make me laugh the way fans are saying our rivals have had it harder- they're winning, drawing and loosing against average Championship teams, not Real Madrid or Barca.

You can only beat your opposistion and to be honest we haven't got out of 2nd gear most games. I've actually been surprised as to how poor the quality of the league is. When we come up against a better side i'm still very confident we'll get a result.

this is spot on, very poor league but poor opposition can sometimes make life difficult and we seem to be taking each game seriously, no complacency and getting results.
People like Dunne, Hill, O'Neil and Barton will not let us get complacent.
That said, I don't think we've play that well and hope we really do get it together.

Exactly, I'm not looking at it from a pessimistic position saying that we'll get tonked as soon as we face a better team. I have every confidence we can beat any team in this league and I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead. That extra element of competitiveness will hopefully bring out the best in our players.

I would like to see the top six from this exact time from last season and see how many in the top six were still there come season end,

to get wins away from home against the likes of leeds and bolton in my view are great results.

hoping for6 points or more from our next 3 away games.
