Oh sorry I recall a game that Germany had a player in the hole England couldn't pick up, but maybe I remembered it wrong, or maybe it was Italy or another team, difficult to remember England games these days, they all tend to go the same way once they face some of the better sides.

True and theres quite a few better teams out their at the moment too. Just heard on the radio that England wont be seeded if they qualify for Brazil..all be over even quicker then :-) Now we got another boring International break while Englands "stars" play "insert sh1t pointless group team" ..... No wonder the players dont give a toss as the majority of English people couldnt care less either.

Germany played 4-4-2 when they thumped us in the World Cup. The 2 up top were Muller and Klose.

Germany simply thrashed us because they were technically much better and had a consistent team that were used to playing together.

Nope. Ozil played as nr10, behind Klose. Podolski left and Muller right. Classic 4231, and we couldn't deal with their players, especially Ozil, playing between the lines.

I stand corrected. Muller and Podolski played on the wings didnt they.

Anyway, they still had consistency and much better technical ability....could've played any formation and tonked us that day !
