They have a strong partnership upfront: Ings and Vokes. It's worth mentioning that QPR and Burnley both have not played against any side in the top half so the next period will really be tough and will show how good we and Burnley are.

It's true that everyone that we have played currently lie outside of the top 10 in the league but there is also an argument that losing 1 game in this league can be the difference between top 6 and bottom 6, especially so early in the season. In this league I would read too much into the standings until everyone has played everyone.

Burnley on the other hand have already played Reading, Forest, Derby, Ipswich & Blackburn (all in the top half) and have won 4 and drawn 1 out of those games. Make no mistake about it, it will be a tough game up there.

Here's a little test. How many supporters from either Burnley or QPR can name a minimum of five players from each club in the division, the grounds, and the managers?

Quite surprised one of their fans could only name just Austin and Barton from our team. Would've thought he'd at least know of Green, Kranjcar BZ, AJ and BAE.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Tbh it is a fair question as apart from 2 or 3 I would also struggle. I don't think anyone would argue against the comment that w12 is arrogant but that doesn't have an effect on him being a decent and honest poster. It's nice to be successful in life and keep your morals however this is a very rare trait these days.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

All joking apart at the start of the season most QPR fans were hoping we weren't going to do a Wolves, and i suspect that after selling Austin most Burnley fans were worried as well, only seen the brief snippets of them on the FL show but there is a striking resemblance between them and our 2011 championship winning team, no big superstars and a great team spirit, squad depth might be an issue but until the fringe players have had a crack its all unknown, at the end of the day i would rather both us and Burnley went up instead of any of the other front runners.

Whilst i think Burnley will be there or there abouts come the end of the season you only have to look at the players we have out or returning to see our depth. Burnley started the season with Vokes and Ings we started with Aj and Bobby who are both out we also lost Jr and Nedum and if you add to that Phillips and SWP who are struggling with injuries. My point is i can't think of any other club in this division including Burnley that could be competing with 6 of their top players out or coming back from injury.

There be there or there about's top 4 or the surprise promotion team, a great start will build momentum and team spirit that will see them through.

Dyche is a good Manager, and in Jan i expect him to sigh a couple of good characters which will give them a lift.

                  Very good dark horses IMO

They beat Reading this weekend and also Forest in the cup so they look decent to be fair

All I know is ings & vokes cos they get a mention of the fl show. Too early to say how they'll do. I wouldn't know but I'm assuming they've had no major injury concerns. Lets see how they cope when a few of their top players get injured but they're doing well and I'd take a point at Burnely if it was offered to me right now.

Vokes has 8 and Ings 6 (league), our Charlie isnt too far away with 5!

Burnley have started off well and the table doesn't lie. However we all know this league is a marathon not a sprint and we have paced ourselves nicely so far. Haven't overdone it, tried to remain as injury free as possible and now seem to have found a bit of consistency with our team selection. We are only just getting into our stride.
As the season goes on and the games take their toll, our strength in depth should see us through to the January window. Whether Burnley can handle a couple of injuries or suspensions remains to be seen. Regardless HR and co are taking no one for granted and are grinding out the three points. We'll be there or thereabouts and I couldn't give a monkeys as to their fate.
One thing that is apparent is that our style of football has changed and will stand us in good stead IF we get promotion.

IMO, Burnely have got off to a magnificent start and well done. Key to their seasion is injuries and suspensions. This will happen and will be a problem for them. Maybe top six but will fall away from the automatic promotion spots. I don't think they will beat us at Turf Moor and am going with a 1:1 draw. Prior to that we will beat Millwall and regain top spot after Burnley draw at Ipswich.

Burnley possibly don't have the strength in depth that we have but they've started very well and momentum is really important in the championship. They have 2 regular goalscorers and if they keep fit, they have a real shot at being involved in the promotion shake up. Not worried about them or anyone mainly because we'll go up if we stay focussed and keep performing. The next 5 games look tougher, with 4 away and a revitalised Derby coming to us, so we'll have a better idea as to our realistic prospects after that.

Burnley are a good side but when it comes to January, I would doubt they would have much money to strengthen and could struggle to compete. Can see them around the play-offs if they dont get serious injuries to Ings or Vokes. Kightly and Trippier are good players at this level but I would confess I don't know much about the rest of them.

Am sure their keeper was on loan with us but dont remember him getting a game...Heaton?
