  • Harry insists Faurlin has a QPR future

ALE Faurlin is a man with a QPR future – according to his boss.

There was a time at the end of last season when Harry Redknapp hinted the Argentinian midfielder had outgrown his four-year stay, but having given him his first league start on Saturday since the opening day, there is no chance Faurlin (pic) will now be allowed out on loan:

To be fair to you, you picked him to start on Saturday and I laughed at you. Apologies Nostradamus.

Ale seems to split opinions with Rangers fans, some don't rate him, even before his injury, I personally rate him, hope he gets back to his best
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

he was a top player before his injury and when we first came up, he was playing very well in the PL
the injury did him in and if he can get fully fit, he is still a big player for us
good engine, can pass and works hard for the team
if only he could bang in more goals and get forward a bit more

I thought he looked a class act in the Championship when others were critical.
I also thought he was suited to the Premership and he seemed destined to move on to bigger and better clubs than QPR, but then he got injured and has been a shadow of the player he was.

Only time will tell, if he can regain that form and if he can he has a bright future...hopefully with QPR.

And he did look a classy premiership player in nearly every single game before his injury. There were even talks of Spurs (when Redknapp was there), Arsenal and Napoli keeping tabs on him.

Newcastle home game is the one I remember. He bossed it.

Faurlin always works his socks off. No player at the club gets a bigger cheer at Loftus Road than he does. He's been through a lot with us
