  • Martin Jol out Harry Redknapp in

Can anyone see this scenario playing out?

Jol clearly on thin nice with a new owner who didn't employ him & geographically good for Harry does worry me slightly.

I do think though that Harry is happy with us & the squad he's building & he obviously has a lot of time for the chairman which he has mentioned many times but is that enough to keep him? Would totally derail us if they made a bid for him. Things like that always mess up teams / players unless there is a flat refusal to talk to the club in question straight from the off.

I think our owners have too much at stake to let that happen.

Basically. We have to go up this year or we are royally foooked.........

Agree but in the end it's not down to the owners effectively. If a manager / player doesn't want to be somewhere 9 times out of 10 they get their wish.

Gut tells me he'll stay if they did approach us but the offer itself is enough to put a spanner in the works in my book unless as I said first off it's dismissed instantly. Harry is a PL manager after all. Well kind of

All fair points. But I think (hope) that they'll go for someone like Mancini. A big continental name rather than a good old English manager.......

You could be right mate just seen this on Sky Sports website

Fulham manager Martin Jol is on the brink of the sack with Rene Meulensteen the front-runner to replace him

No. The same scenario happens to Fulham every season. They start badly and then pick up points after 2-3 months and finish mid table.

If it happens, Taarabt will kill himself.
