I reckon this will be met with dissenting voices from the groans I heard around me yesterday but I think both of them had solid enough games.
They done in the main what we have been moaning others have not done which was get on the ball, run forwards and attack the full backs. Traore got in behind a few times (before as normal is body broke down) and Phillips put a few decent balls into the box he also broke into the box and should have scored.
Think what both need to find is a final ball when they get into the danger area or one of our own breaking into the box so they can cut it back.
Yes yesterday was not an immaculate performance far from it but I did see signs that both of these were prepared to get on the ball and carry it forward.
