Need a couple of loans to cover for injuries, but apart from that we are looking pretty good.

bon... i'm not convinced as such, but i don't realistically see what more the team could have managed from it's first 8 games.

it definitely appears that there's a much better will to win than last season and, although it certainly isn't pretty, it's hard to argue that the way we're playing isn't effective. i'm still concerned about where the goals will come from (although i seem to remember saying that throughout the season we got promoted) and the lack of pace in certain areas of the pitch (ditto).

onwards and (hopefully) upwards. you need to understand nothing's easy when you support the hoopersoups.

Think we should, barring injuries & suspensions, and as stan said we could do with a couple of loan strikers, manage automatic promotion. Very strong squad, compared to most in this league. Glass half full.

Not with Harry's lack of blieve in our youngsters. I am not asking to start 3-4 of them but at least Hitchcock should have started today.

Football these days is utter ****** really. Gone are the days when a club the size of QPR would even have half a sniff of winning the Prem, not like when it started.

Cups always gave us hope of silverware, but these have been devalued over the years, becoming a training exercise for reserve teams; but we're still **** at them. I've worked out QPR have been knocked out of cup competitions 20 times by lower opposition sides in the last 20 years. Oh b Jesus.

So that leaves 95% of clubs, inc QPR, as a form of pure entertainment. That's been pretty much zero so far this season.

Frankly, this has been the most boring start to a season I can remember.

Being top of the league is a bitter pill to swallow.

Glad to see you have not fallen foul of all the doom mongers who will never be happy mate unless we win every game 5-0.

                really?

even when the premier league started, we had no chance of winning it... nor did most of the other teams. other than one-off wins by blackburn and man city (and even then hardly fluke wins), the premier league has only been won by man utd, ars*nal and scum. (in truth, when considering the gap in funding, wenger needs to be considered a miracle worker despite he's failed to manage in the past 8 or 9 seasons).

i seriously don't get why teams outside of the top 4 don't treat the domestic cups they deserve, from a financial view i get it, but as a fan, i don't understand why an everton or liverpool or spuds don't go all out to win these trophies.

maybe, the romance has gone... but the passion's still there. we're not going to be in the champions league this year, next year or in the next ten years. whatever we can (over)achieve is more than enough for me. we're a little club with a big heart.

Stan it ain't doom mongering to say we didn't play well. Today, the defence aside, we played very, very badly and we haven't played well since we won ugly at Leeds. Those are the facts. Being top is a fact too. We can take pride in that, sure, but need be aware we have to play better. Onwards and upwards.....

Results are all that matter mate.Pretty football don't bother me.Take a scrappy, lucky 1-0 all season.Yeah we rode our luck, but sometimes that is all you need to win games.

Man U won the title last season and did not have one of their better years performance wise. But they scraped those results.

I'd take every 1-0 too. But you can't scrape wins all season..... You've gotta eventually score more than eight goals in eight games.....

Arsenal under George Graham won the title with many a 1-0.

absolutely... i reckon the scoring will come good at some stage, but i also reckon someone will give us a tonking at some stage too. it's a season thing... so long as we manage to clock up 90 or so points off 46 games (we're overachieving this at the mo'), i'll be a happy bunny.

Maybe top but not one convincing display as yet,the surprising thing is we are playing with no real penetration and are riding our luck and the other teams are beating each other. I think we will be hard to stop but its not gonna be entertaining.
