We also have very little depth in the defence, and the players we have remaining in those positions are the two that we thought would need to rotate because of their age and the number of games at this level.

I don't see anyone predicting doom, or anyone that isn't pleased with the position we're in, more showing realistic concern for the season as a whole.
Spot on, we have ridden our luck, Ipswich, Birmingham should of been out of site in those games if it wasn't for poor finishing and if it wasn't for Green today Yeovil would of been out of site as well. Happy with the position but too many on hear will be moaning like mad as soon as a few sides start taking there chances and we start dropping down the league. Top of the league on paper but not by performance unfortunately.

Dunne the lad deserves heaps of credit. The best central defender I have seen for us in the last ten years by a country mile. His ability to read the game and be in the right place at the right time is priceless. Quality player

Agree been very impressive but, IMO, Nelsen far superior. Sounds pedantic I know but felt like it had to be said
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

If this is a slump, long may it continue

I think the missing ingredient today was Mr. Barton. I think had he been here last season, we would have a better chance of staying up.

Tell that to some members who think we should play like Barcelona every game.

Absolutely awful their keeper never had to make a save other than the penalty, we were very poor 1 up front is terrible, and Harry's team selection baffles me?

Harry's team selection won us the game, got us 3 points clear, unbeaten, six consecutive clean sheets. I'll take that every day.

Take it you weren't there then ? 3 points yes but everyone leaving saying how bad we were a real dire performance especially from the midfield which Harry picked?

No, but you can't argue with the situation we're in. We will have bad performances yes, but despite that we should be pleased overall.

Our defence will crash down soon simply because our midfield and lone striker cannot take the pressure off the defence. Harry needs to start Hitchock If he can't bring a striker on loan by next game.

I think we have a split opinion on our start to the season. We have the people who go to games who lay out there hard cash and spend the day away from home travelling so are happy that we are top of the league but would also like to see a reasonable performance for there money and we have the people who either sit in front of there TV or wait for the result on the radio so they don't give a f*ck about the performance just the result. We have people who take others comments and over react on them ie " we have people who want us to play like Barcelona every week ", " some of our supporters want us to thrash teams week in week out", well that's not what people are saying, the people that go can see we ain't playing well and haven't performed to warrant outs top of the table position but we will of course take it.
