  • Austin,..............jury still out?

Dont get me wrong I think CA is a great signing for us and will come good in time, but we dont have time.

With AJ out for three weeks, BZ out until at least Christmas (maybe never to return?) and the likes of Hoillett and MP unfit where do you think the goals are going to come from?

I sat behind the goal in the LSE on Weds and when CA had that chance (albeit eventually flagged off-side) he just froze. The ball unexpectidly arrived at his feet, he froze, and then swung a foot at it and shot wide from 2 yards. Quite clearly he lacks confidence to which I'm not slating him, just pointing out that with him miss-firing we aint got nothing else.

Harry wants to play Kranjcar just behind Austin but again he's not fit

Should Mo Shariff or Tom Hitchcock partner CA tomorrow?
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I think he's done alright tbh. 2 assists, 2 goals and general good play. He won't score every game but I think he will come good.

Don't think the jury is out personally. I think he is a good frontman and the only thing missing is goals. I think he played better when he started with BZ. For all the stick he gets i thought defenders were very wary of him and so it got room for Charlie to play in. Think maybe we could do with another big presence up front with him........Carlton Cole on a short term contract?....If he was interested?

Still think 15 - 20 goals before the end of the season...he needs someone decent to play off.

It is a confidence thing, that will soon change though. To be honest I just thought he was a goalscorer, his all round game has impressed me hugely though, a top signing.

Playing an unforgiving role at the moment with almost zero support. Scored goals all his career.

...what this guy has just said.

Watching him on Wednesday - he really had zero support from a midfield 5, of which at least two should have got up with him. Also - the service was not at its best.

I would put money on him scoring 20 goals this season....Plus, he tackles back, takes extra man out of game, holds ball up well etc

Attitudes and comments like that aren't going to help his confidence are they, proven at this level and as for we don't have time we are top of the league. He is a good striker who will score plenty for us given the chance by our over critical fans.

Played a direct role in 3 winning goals and scored a winner in 4/5 matches , isolated and unsupported never stops working for the team.

                    Brilliant signing

Harry needs to have faith in the youngsters because he has no other options at the moment. He should gamble on Hitchcock tomorrow.

Go and get someone to play with him someone like Crouch or Crouch, think Charlie would thrive off of him?

He's just been really unlucky not to score more imo, gets into the right positions but ends up hitting the woodwork, missing or their keeper pulls off great saves.
