I was pretty pleased with this signing but he has surpassed all expectations i had. Absolute unit and a superb defender. I don't think its a coincidence that we haven't conceded a goal in any game he's played (not taking anything away from Onuoha, Hill or Simpson, they've all be superb too). He's been a brick wall for us and is so so composed on the ball too. Harry Redknapp has one hell of a headache when Assou-Ekotto and Onuoha are fully fit. Assou-Ekotto was impressive last night and he isn't fully match fit, so for me he has to start at left back. So who does he drop? Onuoha or Hill? Because for me, Dunne has to start.

The thing about Dunne is that he can be prone to injury so he may not always be available; reminds me of the Nelsen situation, glass ankles etc. So we will need the cover and I can see Hill Ned and Dunne getting plenty of game time this season.Comment

When the time comes, my guess is that it will be Clint who draws the short straw. Shame, as others have said, Clint has been a star for us so far, and nobody in defence truly deserves to be dropped right now, IMO.Comment

Dunne is the nuts. Dont forget he has played international football all his career and has kept out top international strikers so no surprise to me that he is so solid.
Hill deserves all the praise he gets but pretty limited as a playerComment
