Thought he looked different class last night. So comfortable on the ball. Although it's a blow losing Onuoha it's still a great back line.

odd one - personally I thought he was a step behind.
When he had the ball he seemed ok but a few times Brighton were pulling off him (NB - NOT!! "pulling him off") and getting in behind (seriously, i am not trying to say anything dodgy here)

I think he needs to learn this league is physical and he needs to get his body in-front on the man rather than wait for the ball to come to him

(seriously, i cannot believe how dodgy this sound but in all fairness this type of football language isn't anything different that what would be said to any other team...)

Or I could be because he hasn't played a match since June?

The Brighton fans I know who went last night all said he wasn't very good, but were full of praise for the rest of the defence. But most on here seemed to think he was great, so I've decided he must have been average. Think like Phillips we'll see the best of him in a few weeks.

Agree with OP - although a touch rusty, could tell he has a bit of class about him. When fit, in starting 11 every week for me.

Way to good for the championship imo.

Yep. Was amazed when we signed him. Genuinely would have him in the top 6 or 7 LBs in the PL.

Hahahah wouldn't surprise me. He does all that, used to walk to Spurs games with their fans as he wanted to get an idea of what the local community is about. Top bloke.

Thought he was one of the best left backs in the Prem so amazed we got him. He'll definitely come good, it could also be due to him staying up all night playing GTA :S

Ekotto is way too good for this league, im sure many PL clubs were gutted he went QPR. Can only be a good thing
                            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

That is hilarious! As long as he finds his way around the pitch when he does find the ground I'm OK with him! As good a LB as this cat might be, is anyone else concerned the Dunne-Hill pairing may be risky due to lack of pace?
