  • No 10 is ours

Got right fed up yesterday. Long drive up from Bournemouth with a hangover to find Zamora up front and Carroll wearing number 10, made me want to puke! The no 10 shirt is ours, its our history and our glory. Handing it over to someone else's kid learning his trade is a disgrace and shows a complete lack of respect and understanding to what we are all about. It should have been left unused until the rightful owner turns up. Surely Harry should have been aware of this, or are we expected to just be grateful and love every scrap Spurs throw us our way?
Still angry today which is why I'm posting this, but hangovers gone.

I usually have to watch Nicky Campbell's god-botherer's to get this angry on a Sunday morning.

At least the number's now being worn by a professional who's eager to make the most of his talent, play for the team, not himself, and generally gives a sh1t..... The boy will come good. Probably in a five man midfield. And with Kransjar playing behind Austin

                Lol
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Whilst I didn't have the same apoplectic reaction, I thought it was strange that Harry had given the Number 10 shirt to a loanee who may or may not feature regularly for the team.

Speaking of number 10s how is Adel doing at Fulham and Granero doing in Spain?

Neither did the business last year. Maybe they didn't fancy it like some of those Hill was talking about.

Are they setting the world alight now?

Think MikiD needs a course of anger management, if Carrol wearing the Number 10 shirt gets him this angry

Oh dear. I wont insult you with a history of the majesty of our ball playing wizards wearing the number 10. I was lucky enough to witness it first hand and will savour it for ever more. I have been lucky enough to see our team fight to beyond the end of season to be champions, to see our captain as captain of England. My aspirations are forever at that level. I am not content to take any pride in seeing Kyle Walker or Andros Townsend turn out for England, anymore than grooming another someone else's starlet in the making with our (my??) coveted no 10 shirt.

The rightful owner is just not there yet Dave. Tarrabt fitted the mould but events appear to have proved otherwise. In my opinion, although I hated his old man as a player, Tom Ince has the guile and style? Unless one of our own kids is allowed a break to stake a claim..
