Set Pieces

After what feels like a good ten years of being unable to take a decent set piece (prob last reliable player was Padula) we now seem more consistent and potent with Barton over the ball.

Hes not perfect and the odd one goes long but we no longer seem to hit the first man with every corner or free kick and when we get a set piece now when he is over the ball im confident enough it will go into the mixer

Adel for his ability was a master at hitting the wall or the first man. Was a shame Bartons free kick at the end yesterday never found the top corner.

Agree, and just as importantly is our big improvement at defending them too.

Indeed more often then not he puts it in the right area and if we get someone on the end of it it really should end up on target

Would love to see Dunne and Nedum put there nut on a few into the top corner like the WBA lad done at Fulham yesterday
