I think what I meant to say that the comment on last year and the players would have been more suited to QPR Player rather than national television. Also somebody stated that a reporter asked him these questions so he had to answer. I think a better response would have been to say something like last year is over and done with and we need to concentrate on the future and then go on to talk about his year. This year isn't mentioned, though this is perhaps a bit unfair because maybe this isn't all the interview. Also not sure Warnock got in the right players. If he had stayed we would almost certainly have gone down a year earlier.

I would guess he priced himself out of any move so any interest never even got to the stage of negotiation.
