Press conference - BAE, Kranjcar, Phillips and AJ unlikely to start
Will he start Hill or Assou -ekotto at left back?
Hill has been superb there, but isnt a natural left back, i can see Hill and Dunne being rotated through the season in the middle, injuries permitting of course.
As much as i like Hill , he'd have to sit out Saturday for me....
Just seen it now, yeah it does look like he'll have to put off the harsh decisions for now, still they do say dont change a wining side, especially a strong back 5 ....
I expect to see thm play only if injuries to others.
Hill will keep his place at LB partly due to form and partly because Assou-Ekotta is nor match fit, Phillips is not really fit yet, needs a couple of reserve or friendly games. Krancjar is at QPR becuase he wasnt in the Dynamo Kiev team so is also not match fit.
Hoilett to keep his place on the left wing. the only deadline day signing I expect to see get a game is Carroll. Probably in the team instead of SWP.
Redknapp might choose to play Johnson on the right with Hoilett on the left and Carroll just behind Austin. Barton and Henry to be in central midfield in a 4-2-3-1 formation that can switch to a 4-3-3 and later in the game a 4-4-2.
