New stadium ownership

So what happens to LR? will it be sold to a developer? who gets the money? Will that money be used to help finance the new stadium?

I think the club needs to own its own stadium because if we don't then QPR isn't really worth anything. Look at Coventry, Wimbledon etc....

I really hope the fans stick together on this one.

MYU that post by BIGEARS is exactly the fears VBLOCK / VESPA / MYSELF & others are raising in the Old Oak Common thread & we get QPRRichard & the rest of the brainwashed masses calling for us to be burned at the stake as non believers !

Unfortunately your comment about us thinking again & QPRRICHARD'S about starting a pressure group are both completely useless because WE DON'T OWN IT THEY DO !

As 1/3 owners I'm not exactly sure what the Mittals want out of owning us BUT TF & his gang can't have been any more open about it , and those still in the dark ;

HE WANTS A 'ENTERTAINMENT' VENUE TO THE WEST OF LONDON WITH IT'S EASY TRANSPORT ACCESS ..........

Planning approval for a music / Hotel /Entertainment venue will be a lot more difficult to get without the community goodwill that having a football ground attached will carry.

Football (QPR) is a very minor part of his ability to make money out of any redevelopment.

FOR ONE LAST TIME TF IS HERE TO MAKE MONEY ........ Someone tweet one of his PR gang see if he will answer the questions about stadium ownership & matchday revenue.

In my opinion a 40k stadium does not suit us by the way, would rather a 25k with the ability to add to out in the future.

Ahhh so this is the thread for happy clappy kids with #### cheeks spread wide so Uncle Tony can give them a good seeing too while wearing their London Rangers shirt? Also see there are some quite sensible posters in here so its not all for the kids. Oi Johnny how many FIFA stars you reckon QPR will get next season in the prem? :-)

Have to say it is a worry not owning anything as that is where the value is.

If it takes as long as the training ground to get going i wouldn't worry for the next 20 years or so. As for Coventry there problem was with 2 separate factions within the club working against each other and slowly killing there club, simply because one wouldnt work along side or help the other, crazy situation.

Not sure Amit/Mittals own that much , not even sure how much Tony's owns actually, i thought a finance company owned some of the ground, has all the loan definitely been paid up?

The ground was always our asset so a bit scary to now think we have none. Didnt know that TF already owned the ground..thought it belonged to the club. How he pull off that trick?

If so read through all of my posts on the matter, I fully accept a move is in the offing BUT as a great many people also agree with, my view on the matter is ;

I DON'T THINK A 40k STADIUM WOULD ENHANCE THE AVERAGE FANS MATCHDAY EXPERIENCE ...........

It would enhance TF's turnover on other events !
