He might be a midfielder as he replaced Samba?

he has scored for the first team, the EDS game against Brighton the other day and now against a strong Watford team, he appears to be an " in the right place at the right time" type of striker, I just feel that with our shortage of front men, he should get a bit of a run out.

I think he should come off the bench for the last 30 minutes though, he's better then Zamora so our third choice striker

Have you watched any of our matches, although Austin hasn't scored his played very well and as been involved in most of our goals.

Kid should be at least on the bench Wednesday. Like to see him get 10-20mins his buzzing

Is doing all the right things to get a first team call up. Put him on the bench tomorrow then if we are comfortable, give him a 20 minute run out.

If harry ever plays two up front again, I honestly can't see how he could do any worse than Zamora. Would much rather he be given a chance than ever have to endure that 45 minutes by Bobby again.

Deserves some minutes from the bench I think, not Zamora
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Hold your horses lads. He's scored 4 goals for our u21's, not 40. We are currently 2nd in the table, there is no need to put undue pressure on the lad. By all means, put him on the bench, but barring an injury crisis, I dont see him anywhere near the first XI yet. Especially if we sign a striker in Jan.

I would rather that bloke who puts out the flares up front with Austin than Zamora. So if Harry ever wants to go two up front, I would rather him use Hitchcock.

I could handle that kind of return but also means the fans mustn't get on his back if he takes a few games to get into his stride and our players learn how to use his skills in the best way. They've not been used to having someone like him up front!
Last 2 quotes from a thread on 2 August. Imagine if he'd been dropped early by both Swindon and Burnley?!!! It looks like he's coming into goal scoring form right on cue
