Thanks J.I must say,I'm somewhat overwhelmed by the personal tributes this thread has generated.Having been virtually dragged along to the R's as a seven year old by my fishmonger dad (Portobello Rd) I was smacked in the face by the ball in a pre-match kick about against Colchester.I was in what was then the boys section in Loftus Rd and was taken by the St Johns Ambulance to a treatment room and got to meet all the players after the match. From that point on I was hooked, and have been going to LR ever since. The next season my dad bought us Season Tickets in Ellerslie Rd to keep me out of harms way.Over the years I've had letters from Alec Stock,Jim Gregory,Gerry Francis,Gordon Jago,John Gregory, spoke at length to Gerry Francis and Gareth Ainsworth and played golf several times with Rodney Marsh and Simon Barker.Highlights have been winning the League Cup,finishing runners up to Liverpool,Reaching the FA Cup final v Spurs and thrashing Birmingham away in the League Cup 4-1 with calls of Rodney ringing out around the ground and M1 service station.Lovely memories all of them.On the flip side was Briatorie's treatment.Increasing my ST in SA Rd from £284 to £3,525 resulting in me having to move.Anyway, happy days now and looking forward to the upcoming home games where hopefully we can consolidate.U RRRRRSSSSS.

46, been going home and away for 31 years and have missed 19 games in that time. At one point done every game for 12 seasons in a row. Seen some good times in the 80's and early 90's and some bad times since but think we are on the right track now and looking forward to getting back to where we belong.
