Green over Cesar? Mental

I know some good goalies from brazil though they arent top in the past or now.

But still just by purely testing out talent of the both, it is obvious cesar is much better.

But i agree that green could be of better choice in english league becos cesar seems to neglect the pacy and fierce football style of english footballers and keep punching away easy balls rather than grabbing them.

Cesar isn't better though, this is the difference between football fans from Korea and England. We are not blinded by footballers 'superstar' statuses we call it as it is. That's why Park got it because he was pony not because of where he was from. Last World Cup Green was Englands No.1 and still has an England career if he wants it, Cesar produces flash saves for the cameras, Green just gets on with it.

Simple Facts - Similar to why I never wanna see Park play for us again.

1. He clearly WAS trying to get a move away from QPR for well over 6 months IMO.
2. He didnt even finish the season with QPR when we got relegated.
3. Green has been treated poorly for the last year and stuck with us.
4. Green ended and started this year well
5. Green deserves some loyalty back... no?
6. Green is a good keeper and probably one of, if not the best in this league

Green is here for the long haul, Cesar isn't. Too many people on here judging Cesar on former glories rather than what he has actually done for QPR!

firstly Green immediately said he wanted to stay when we went down and be part of Harry's plans and help us get back up.
Cesar made it clear he wanted to move on and therefore Harry's plans didn't include him. So Green was given a chance and so far has taken it. We have the best 2 keepers in the league and they both have strengths and weaknesses but for now, Green is in, will stay in and if we continue to go well (which I think we will) then Cesar isn't gong to play.Who we all think is better isn't really that important tbf, what is important is getting up, building a strong defensive unit and keeping clean sheets and winning games. I'm not interested in the world cup, whether Cesar plays for Brazil or any of that nonsense.
If Cesar was happy to take a pay cut, he would be somewhere else by now. It's a great shame he can't get by on less than £90k a week.
He has my complete sympathy on that issue!

I think its quite funny how NONE of us was happy the way the club was being run with regards to signings and dealings with players.

Furthermore I cant remember any fan being happy with the performances we saw (Or lack off shall I say) which lead to us being relegated.

Cesar went fully under the radar IMO - He was trying to get a move out of QPR for months prior to even the season ending - All because he needed football elsewhere to improve his chances of playing in Brazil...

Well, that backfired and now we are not only expected to allow him to come back and play, but walk into our unbeaten eleven.

Loyalty goes a long way, and we was all needing this last year. Well Robbo for me has been a true gent and pro... kicking him out would be bang out of order especially when he hasnt set a foot wrong so far.

Cesar... You would be lucky to make my bench mate!

Lastly - Any talk through SSN or the papers saying Cesar never wanted to leave is rubbish. Im sure his agent slung a few quotes together to boost his QPR playing time chances.

If his wages wasnt so high or he could take a cut he probably wouldnt be here.

People seem to forget up to a point last season Cesar was our best player. However I do not agree with the OP. I think both are top top keepers and it would be unwise to keep both again. Also I don't see many complaining much about Cesars high wages. As it is now I would prefer to loan him out, perhaps with a recall option.

I agree with your post except for the salary part. TF said nobody is earning more than 65k £ weekly last season. HR also said no offers came in for Cesar so how can he take a paycut when its not on the table? Furthermore we don't really know if he had a relegation wage clause in his contract.

I was wondering if Green would get into the Brazil team if he was from Brazil?

We do owe it to Green and we shouldn't just change keepers like that, however I would play both this season as we are paying big wages to both..

Another post of mostly pure speculation. You may be right....Harry though has said Cesar is a top pro and no trouble at all. Green enjoys training with him apparently and it can't hurt Green training with Cesar each day. Green is number 1 and rightly so. If Cesar wants that spot he has to earn it and I have seen nothing to suggest he does not follow that line of thinking.

If Green gets injured next game and is out for 2 months are you honestly telling me you would have Murphy over Cesar? An unproven keeper against arguably a keeper as good as/maybe better than Green?

Could argue Green should be number one as he was not caught wearing the scums shirt at the end of last season. Cesar should have shown more respect to the fans and club to wear that crappy top.

Overall, Cesar is probably the better keeper due to past achievements etc. But this isn't Football Manager and this isn't the past.

This is the Championship and throughout pre season and now Green has been superb and a big part of our winning start. If Harry was in anyway serious about team spirit and playing people who want to play for us, then it would be absurd to drop him.

. Ok then on your logic if I play for Brazil in goal and win a world cup medal I should play if signed above Green... History tells us most Brazilian goalkeepers are at best average so because Ceasar has won more medals than Shilton and seaman put together does that make him a better keeper than those two??
