This is what I can't understand the most.

Why is the number 1 Brazilian International Goalkeeper treated this way?

Is there any of you who feel the same way?

If so, I am glad.

If you don't quite agree with the idea of Cesar starting plz tell me the reasons.

Quite simple Green not put a foot wrong so far this season,
1) Green comes and catches the ball when the defence is under pressure, rather than just flapping or punching it
2) Green has made at least 3 important saves in games this season 2 at Bolton & 1 at Leeds which allowed us to collect 6 valuable points
And the main reason which is? he's only still an Rs player because no one seems to want Julio or his wages are are so big nobody wants to pay him that much.
And as soon as he gets a chance Julio will be gone!
Julio is a very good keeper,but for me Green is Rangers No1, and should remain so.

harder to become englands top goalie than brazils top goalie...and green has been englands top goalie....
greens howler is famous....but all goalies make howlers including cesar..seaman...hart and any other you want to mention

in addition to being at least as good as cesar, greens professionalism after the disgraceful way MH treated him was amazing
and he's shown the full 110% loyalty


btw bon, ive got to say, if yun etc get the full respect from you simply because they have played for korea, and that is their
credentials as world beaters, its a bit irritating that you don't show green more respect as he has played for England.

one of greens strengths is his ability to pick out a quick long throw upfield once he's got the ball..i think dempseys famous goal,
it was rolling to green, under control and he was trying to pick out a player upfield when the ball did a freak wobble. just my opinion on what
might have happened

Why wasn't Cesar used in the Cup then?
He may be a World Class Keeper but Harry is obviously staying with Green and Murphy that both want to be here!!
Cesar didn't turn down a move elsewhere to stay here, so he doesn't deserve to get anywhere close to wear the Number 1 Jersey in my eyes!!!

I feel if he is picked now, its gonna do nothing for the Good Team Morale we have at the moment.

More seriously, I've not been a big fan of Rob Green since he joined us but he does seem to have found some form and has earned the #1 spot for now. Competition for places is a good thing!

I admit that when we signed Green I wasn't that impressed, and when we signed Cesar we had signed a keeper that was still regarded as one of the best in the world.
I remember a game last season where the sky cameras had gone straight to Green sitting on the bench and people commented he was laughing as we had conceded, and took some flak for it!!

Green, has stayed with us and fought for his place.
Has never spoken out about not being number 1 last season, but got on with it and has grabbed his chance and deserves it.

Green was always a Good Keeper, but keepers are always remembered for errors and his for England I think really affected him as the nation was on his back!!
Green looks more comfortable this season, and looks like he has the confidence that he had when he was part of the England Squad.

No way, would I drop Green now to call up Cesar, Green so far this season is looking great!!
