  • More players on loan

We have now 4 players on loan. All should be in the playing squad for next game.
Is it good to have so many non-QPR players in the team. Can this disturb others i.e. real QPR-players!!!
And many want to sent our players on loan and get others loaned instead (2 strikers and a left back) - so we might have 7 non QPR players in the squad of 18 taking part in the match.
And if all goes well and we get promoted - we loose 7 players from our team - that would be very difficult going into the premiership.

It wouldn't surprise me if 2 of those loans were made permanent in January.
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

But if we don't loan these players we may never get to the Premiership. I think it's a risk most would be prepared to take. How many of the Stoke team now were in the team that got promoted from the Championship? Very few because most teams rebuild once they are promoted.

we havent got the quality in fully contracted players to get in the prem so we have no option other than loan (seeing as the owners wont spend any money on transfer fees). But i do agree a team with 5 or 6 loan players is not ideal and gives the impression of a badly run club trying to do it on the cheap.

You could also argue that the players on loan have a reason to perform and impress their parent club, or us.

Whereas a player on a 4 year permanent deal at QPR who's stopped scoring goals, and runs around like a pig on roller skates might only start to worry about that when he's in the final year of his contract.
            He's alright.... Comfort zone.

            No names. ;D

I recon that's the strength... a bit like Buz etc a couple of seasons ago.

......and SirPie, I'd think that the players would all get along with another, and recognise their quality... probably the only thing to dis-unite them would be a major disparity in wages.
