The queues and service in Ellerslie Road are probably the worst I've seen at any ground, in any division, over the last few years.
That goes for bogs and bars.
The leg room is a joke, if you're over 5' 4".

Not sure what the rest of the ground is like, probably all lovely and plush.

I'd jump at the chance of a new ground, because I honestly prefer going to away games now.

Lovely & plush no, adequate, just.

How?, without reducing the capacity further.

While we still have very rich owners, we need a NEW STADIUM....otherwise we will wither and wither.
            They seek him here.................

We certainly need a better stadium.

Who out of the top 2 divisions what swap Loftus Rd for what they have, even a third of League 1 ground have surpassed ours

I had more legroom at Aldershot then we have in the upper loft.

We should be looking to build a new ground.
I'm sure lots of Reading fans still pine for Elm Park, because they are all misty-eyed about the good old days of p*ss-soaked terraces and deep vein thrombosis in the seats.
Not a fan of the new plastic bowls that many clubs have moved into... but if we built a stadium that looked similar to the style of Loftus Road... the fans would flock to it. As long as the team that played in it could match the surroundings - that's the key thing. As well as location.

The best stadium I've been to for atmosphere is Boavista's in Portugal.
It holds about 32,000, and it's a PROPER football ground, with the look of a bigger Loftus Road.....

Definitely needs updating - leg room is simply not adequate. I'm only 5ft 10in and leg room is an issue

Would not want to renew my season ticket if I lost my end of row seat !!

You would think with Flavio, Bernie, and the Mittals expert knowledge in regards of advertising and such, why could they not get sponser's to foot the bill for a new stadium, for which they could get it named after them and advertising all around the place for x amount of years, and built along the lines of LR, just bigger and better and bring us into the 21st century.

They could even keep with nostalga and name the new stands after the present ones at LR.

Looks great, and is certainly not a bowl.

One of the problems I think the club has regarding planning permission is one of height of the stands.

With the Mittlals involved, the steel needed to build the place should be available at cost price.

And I'm sure the chandeliers, leather settees and top of the range crockery in South Africa Road, as well as the scoreboard are all portable.

This splits people, but I'm all for a move. Loftus Road is way past it's sell by date.
