Don't worry Charlie boy. If you don't start scoring soon it will soon be your turn to get the boo's.

I dont see a lot of effort from Zamora. He doesnt even jump to challenge for headers ffs. AS for attitude, he appears to have a dont give a sh1t5 attitude half the time and plays like it.

Part of being a good footballer is not to let the crowd get to you and concentrate on your game.

If fans pay good money to come and see me, paying my 40k a week salary, and then they're not happy with my performance and boo me, I should be able to ignore that and concentrate on my game. If I am unable to do so, then maybe I am not good enough to be earning 40k a week.

Its about being professional, same as any job. If a plumber didnt do your plubming to a satisfactory standard he'd expect criticism, same with an electrician, decorator, doctor etc etc etc..... Man up ffs.

I actually agree . The only point I would say and have always said is about our ground itself . I've always thought that its te best place in the country with the crowd behind you but one of the most negative when they are not . If bobby showed he cared he would get the same back from the crowd

I have booed a plumber before as he needlessly replaced a closet flange next to a discharge tube.....

......it seems that you take that exact same stance on here as well! At least you practice what you preach!

Austin should be quite and start scoring goals tbh

Don't agree with people booing him as that will never help the situation. But it is dam frustrating watching him prance about out on the field looking like he don't care. As I'm sure some have said, if his body language made him look interested then he probably wouldn't come under fire.

As been said by a few posters, if he puts in the effort then no-one would have a pop at him.

Look at Clint Hill, he doesn't need telling that he's probably one of the least gifted players we have in the squad yet he's an absolute legend with us fans, purely because of his attitude and commitment.

It's all about effort, put a shift in and nobody will have a moan, it's not rocket science.

                        Hardly helpful though is it.
I suspect if Barton had been booed in that opening game we might not be sitting on 13 points.

To surprised that he was on the pitch to boo!!!
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Unfortunately all fans seem to have to focus on somebody to barrack. Bosingwa has left (though I do not recall too many players saying his treatment was unjustified), and everybody seems to have turned to Zamora. We have had far worse players in the team than him. Some of the reports in the newspapers have not helped. If players are jumping in to support him, I can only assume that he actually does care and is just having a bad time through injury of lack of form.

I keep hoping that he will come on as a sub and score.

Has anyone thought he just cant put a shift in due to not being 100% fit ? No good booing him if he has no choice being played. Its more painful to watch him and feel sorry for him.
