I love the way some on here love to jump on the band wagon of arguable mistakes Cesar made and give large in Green's favour..... yeah because Green's never made any mistake in his time with us has he....

Personally i prefer Cesar as feel he's beter and more consistent. If anyone is likely to mess up the basics it's Green imo as his mistakes tend to be out of the blue and absolutely shocking. However, Green is in place and played well so far and the team is settled so he should remain in goal for the timebeing.

At the end of the day, we have 2 very highly regarded keepers, and its a further embarrassment of riches compared to others in this division so i certainly wont complain.

Also for anyone slating Cesar it is uncalled for. As Rieger pointed out, its not his fault what he gets paid, although the £80k suggestion is way off i believe as thought it was around the £50k mark same as Green, regardless, he is apparently one of the best professionals you could hope to have at a club. He is the most decorated keeper in English football and doesn't give it the big "I am" attitude. Also the fact he was pretty much free, more than subsidises a bit extra on his wage compared to others we paid good money for. Stop knocking the bloke.

At last a decent post. Amazing how quickly the Green lovers will turn on his if he makes a clanger and especially if it costs us a game. Cesar would come in, have a good game and all of a sudden its Cesar fever on here.

Think Cesar is a better goalkeeper overall but Green is a better keeper for this division if that makes sense. Green has been playing well, is number 1 and deserves his place.

The Cesar bashing is also amusing. No firm offer came in for him as was quoted by Harry. He is a top pro, trains very well with Green and that is according to Green himself. If Green gets injured what a keeper to have as a replacement. Some fans though would rather we got rid of him and put Murphy (which would weaken the team) in goal because Cesar is paid too much money. Ridiculous.

Cesar is paid far far more than his worth, and from what i can tell for the good of the club he needs to be moved on...........that is good enough for me, apart from the fact i have doubted Cesar since his debut and have consistently said i prefer Green

Good point about the training. Whoever plays in goal for us will only benefit from having another top class keeper to train with day in day out. Not to mention prevent them resting on their laurels.

How do we know exactly what ceaser is being paid ? The wages touted last year were repeatedly denied by the club infact didn't they say out top earner was around 60 k per week ? How do we know that those contracts didn't have relegation clauses in them ?

Not sure how people think cesar is on 50k a week..

think about it. Napoli wanted him but went for Reina as cesars wages demands was too high. Reina would've been on more than 50k a week at liverpool surely.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
              Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

good point, harry did the hard many times but nobody took the bait, wages are the most likely reason imo

                        Should be number one.

                        Will be number one.

After all, it'll probably only be a matter of weeks before Rob makes some howlers and costs a game.

Cesar is a big liar. Why hasn't he been he training with the squad then? Look at Jeoy Barton. Although he wanted a move to Marseille, he hounored his contract with us and returned to training. Hence I have total respect for Jeoy.

Not cheering anyone, just stating how it is, Rob has a few games, then makes some real howlers. That's the way it has always been with him and that's the way it probably always will be.
